AHHHHH
Gorjus linked to James Kochalka's website the other day. So, I checked it out and discovered his new comic. I don't think I'll be able to handle it.

I finally bought a computer (a Dell). It's awesome. I'll make everyone excessively long mix cds--all drone and slow (ah ha ha ha ha)--with my DVD burner!! Unfortunately, I can't get past the amount of money I spent. Only a precious few of you witnessed the glasses freakout 2003--almost a year ago exactly--and that was only $200. I'm erratically frugal. I have no problem buying cds; whereas, everything else has to be rationalized.

If I had less self discipline, I'd buy a Game Cube this minute. Mario Kart Double Dash has taken control of my mind. I'm addicted once again to the Nintendo racing games.

I have gone, in a matter of days, from loving '04 to hating it's ugly face.

I drove to work yesterday morning in a great mood and over the course of 2 days have leveled off at a healthy "well, it can't be much worse than last semester" mood.

I sat through almost 6 hours of meetings today and felt my contempt rise in me like hot, hot magma. Meanwhile I have 4 too few seats for my huge 1st period class, which I will be holding in the home ec room. Just what I need: 35 students and ready access to butcher knives.

On the plus side of '04, I have received in the past 3 days large sums of money for various reasons, including selling a piece of art work that my mom essentially sold me out for (and that she genuinely apologized for later so I love her) and getting some check from my mortgage company with an explanation that I cannot understand. In addition to that, it looks like someone is willing to buy my broke down little Honda for a price that I am happy with.
Maybe eating those disgusting collard greens on New Year's Day really did something for me...

I retract! 2004: I AM INTO IT!!!

Tomorrow I have to return to work, but not before I make one last big dinner, sell myself out and try to work out how I can afford to get my hair done in this lifetime (not in any particular order).
