Could it be--hmmm-- SATAN?!

"I knew my god was bigger than his. I knew that my god was a real god and his was an idol."
are you sure "god" isn't a euphemism for something else??

"We are free people and that's the wonderful thing about our country, and I think for anyone to run around and think that can be managed or controlled is probably wrong." from Rumsfeld. ha! what a liar.

Roy, you're not alone
Dream 10/13/03
I have to take part in a ceremony celebrating something, kind of like a debutante ball or quinciniera (15th birthday). we're all (Auburn High girls) in white dresses that look like tacky wedding gowns. There's music and, of course, the Fab 5 from "Queer Eye For the Straight Guy." Jokes are told, we leave with Fab 5. As we're driving, the car stops and my friend Christina notices a cute, very fat squirrel outside the window. It attacks me on my neck and tries to tear out a hole. We rip it off. I wake up.

goodbye, Josephine
My grandmother died today. She was beautiful and I will miss her.

Well, it's a start?
The editorial forgot to mention the strains death penalty cases put on the jury that can lead to wrongful convictions: a long period of confinement, lots of evidence, unclear procedures, the decision to take someone's life away or not.

Hey, here's a novel idea: what about not killing anyone?! yeah!

Breakfast of Champions
Whoa, what a weekend. I probably spent more time driving, but it was worth it. I did indeed see R.E.M. with RRC and Big Gray. Of course, it was awesome--best show of theirs I've seen yet. I think everyone else has a summary report, so I'll pass and leave it to the experts. You can also check out the transcripts of my conversation with V+ last night.

I told this to V+, but I might as well say it again and RRC didn't report it: a couple behind us at the show said that "the Bon Jovi show was so much better 'cause of all the t.v.'s on the stage." Hmmm, yeah, that and no R.E.M. album could ever top "Slippery When Wet," right?

I've decided that not one restaurant in Auburn is anything other than Mexican, or a bar/sandwich/finger foods place.

I woke up an hour late this morning--probably needed the sleep. Still made it to work on time, but my breakfast will have to be the colorful Goldfish crackers left in my backpack for some reason. Maybe it's fate.

Meltdown
Tomorrow I go back to work. I just spent the last 30 minutes crying about it.
